Meet the Doctor – Homer Dental Center
Dr. Anne C. Adamson
I believe in a patient-centered approach to practicing dentistry. Every single person who comes to Homer Dental Center is unique and deserving of quality dental care with a comfortable experience. I also believe that dental health is an integral part of overall health. Therefore, prevention and education are the foundation of any treatment, and adjunctive services are added based on a patient’s specific needs. I am meticulous about the dental care I provide, and take pride in constantly learning and staying up-to-date with the latest methods, materials, and techniques the field has to offer. I recognize the trust that patient’s put in me and my work when they walk into Homer Dental Center, and it is my promise to always respect that.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2015. Following my graduation, I was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy. I completed one year of extra training at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton where I received training on everything from simple fillings to managing acute head & neck trauma. The next 4 years were spent in Guam and California providing dental care for our country’s sailors and marines.
I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Homer community! In my spare time, you can catch my husband and I skiing, hiking, fishing, camping, hunting… Just about everything the outdoors has to offer! When I’m not busy enjoying all of the outdoors, I run a Non-Profit Organization called A Simple Smile Org. For the past 6 years, I’ve organized annual dental humanitarian missions to Senegal, Africa (fun fact – I lived in Senegal for a year in between college and dental school, and can speak Wolof!). We are currently working on expanding our reach to other countries and other communities in need. Check out more about the organization below!
