Jennifer Johnson - R.D.H.
I received my B.A. in Biology from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and my associates in Dental Hygiene from North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton. I have worked for Dr Hodnik for the past 18 years. Nearly a lifelong Alaskan, I grew up in Soldotna after leaving Wisconsin at the age of 3. My free time is spent with my family and friends, taking advantage of all that the beautiful Alaskan outdoors has to offer. I love my career and am dedicated to providing our patients with the best care and knowledge so they will be able to achieve excellent oral health for their overall well being.
Connie Isenhour -Administrative Assistant - Office Manager
I have had the privilege of working for Dr Hodnik for more than 18 years as the administrative assistant. Working together with our wonderful patients, meeting new people and assisting with insurance and scheduling needs bring joy to my day. I received medical training in the US Coast Guard and met my husband Joe in Ketchikan. We moved to Homer in 1996 and call this our "retired" home. Our children all live in the area. I enjoy spending time off with my grandsons, Kellen Fin and Corey Stone Isenhour. My puggle Yukon anxiously waits for me each day. Knitting, sewing, quilting and weaving keep me busy at home. I am a Thyroid Cancer Survivor and like to share resources with others. "The only thing constant in life is change" and I believe it everyday.
I have been working as a Dental Assistant on and off for 4 years. I started my career with Doctor Lein, who shared his enthusiasm about Dentistry. From there I took time off to have my two beautiful children, Siveryan and Susanna. I was born and raised in Oregon and made the move to Alaska in 2009 to start a life here in Homer with my husband Alexander. In my free time I enjoy sweet moments with my family. I have worked beside Doctor Vickey Hodnik for over 2 years now and feel so much gratitude towards her and our patients.
I am new to the dental field and have been by Doctor Hodnik’s side for over a year now. I find the dental field stimulating and everyday there something new that is learned. I was born in Pennsylvania and in my early years moved to Finland, there I experienced many fond adventures and my love for animals and the outdoors grew. I’m grateful to be in Alaska for it always feels like home. My passions include camping, sailing, knitting and fishing. I enjoy learning and feel fortunate to work so closely with our wonderful patients.
